Sincerest Apologies

Dear all,

We experienced trouble with the Storymoja webmail recently, as a result of which some of you sent mail and submissions which we never received. The problem has been sorted out and we have been able to recover some of your mail, including some submissions for the ongoing writing contests. All submissions will be considered and those that qualify will be entered into the contest.

However, to make up for the horrendous mishap, you will be allowed to vote for 2 stories in the next voting sessions of the Storymoja Hay Festival Story of the Month. That means that the story that won the first contest, as well as the one that wins the current session which closes on Wednesday 22nd, will compete against two stories that will be voted for in the next session, and two stories that will be voted for in the final session.

The judges will then judge six stories, instead of four, and the final winner will get tickets to the Storymoja Hay Festival.

We sincerely apologise for this and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support.

Please continue voting, and tune in for the next session which will be published on Monday 20th July to allow for your voting.
