The Young Writers’ Program (Nairobi 2010)

The YWP was a ten-week introductory fiction course. The project was one of 100 Projects for Peace funded by the Kathryn W.Davis Foundation and conducted worldwide. Each summer, the Davis foundation offers 100 fellowships to undergraduate students in American universities to conduct projects aimed at promoting peace in the world. The YWP blog features the anthalogy of the recently concluded Young Writers’ Project, a ten-week course on creative writing. The stories there represent the effort and creativity of their authors. YWP participants were free to take or disregard suggestions made by project facilitators as well as colleagues.
