Theatre lovers: Storymoja Hay Festival – included in the 500/day ticket price

The Theatre Company presents My Moving Home, a stage performance inspired by Rogers Otieno’s tough past in rural Nyanza, and first love in Nairobi.

‘Mwana Mdogo wa Mfalme’- a production in Kiswahili of the celebrated story ‘Le Petit Prince’ (The Little Prince) by the French author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.  Le Petit Prince was translated into Kiswahili by Walter Bgoya (Tanzanian publisher and writer) and Philipe Kruse (German national). It is a profound and deeply moving tale laced with poetic metaphor.  The production is being directed by Samwel Mwangi of Heartstrings Kenya using sound and music to narrate through monologue and acting.
