Your smooth chocolatey  face
new moon upon azure sky;

Your mellow soothing voice
gentle stream lapping thro’ the woods;

Your captivating charm and warmth
thawing the solitary souls;

A sparkling diamond gem
cheering the wintry July evens;

Your gaiety and sense of humor
stoking embers beneath cold ash

YET
What pain and endless horror
encountering a heart dead to love

Flaunting your exterior visage
to trap the hapless ones

Your lone purpose and motivation
 primitive quest for material gain.
