December is a holiday month; kids out of school, December 12, Christmas & Boxing Day, and some workers align their annual leave with December to allow them time to spend with relatives in rural homes. Traveling to ushago used to be a huge thing. It still is for some. But with the evolution of the economy and family set up, December Holidays are not what they were 20 – 25 years ago.
For the December Short Story, please send us a fictional account of what ‘the holidays’ mean today. Your story should not be less than 1200 words; not more than 1600 words long.
