Celebrating East African Writing!
Joseph Bokea is 13 years old and has published the first of his 8 Fantasy Fiction novels. He will have a speaking spot and will be signing copies of his book at the Storymoja Festival: Careerpedia Edition.
“Joseph 13, a grade 8 student at Aga Khan Academy was not disappointed that he was dreaming. He decided to keep dreaming. His dream has now been published into a book titled Magic.

Also making an appearance at the Storymoja Festival in Nakuru are Swahili Authors Wallah bin Wallah and Ken Walibora who will speak to educators and general audiences on writing in Swahili and teaching Swahili literature effectively.
Joanne Ball Burgess – Sakata Dance Judge and an expert in Alternative Education will guide parents and teachers in Creative Approaches to Learning. She will also have special sessions for children and teens on reading, dancing and hip hop afro-fusion.

Works of legendary cartoonists like Terry Hirst, Maddo and Gado will be featured alongside recent sensations like Shujaaz, Roba, etc.
