Magic, a spectacular fantasy fiction novel, is a story of Joe who is adopted into a family of green people. He lives in a castle with his friend Oak and his sister Ivy who spend their days studying with their teacher Master Leaf, to join the secret war against cruel and oppressive humans. They are joined by Emerald, who hate humans and wants to revenge for the murder of her parents. But as the war get deadlier, Joe and Emerald become closer, tension builds up. Joe is suspected as a traitor and a spy for the humans. Joe must then make a decision and on which side he will really choose.

Storymoja believes in nurturing creativity and creating a stronger reading culture in children. Your students will get an opportunity to interact with the young author, as well as learn the basics of writing through a creative writing workshop for children by Muthoni Garland, a children author, founder and CEO Storymoja whose novel was shortlisted for the 2006 Caine Prize . Entry is free. A copy of MAGIC book will be available for sale at a discounted price of 350 Ksh, and can be autographed by the author
