Bull Shit Crutches!!! By Cindy Ogana

I am tired of these bull shit crutches
Lame ass excuses and today, I will start with the women

Oh I can’t find someone to love me, are you lovable?
Or do you just wake up and sulk, eating fries and wonder why your behind is so big
Wonder why nobody digs your nappy hair, sullen face, do you let any love in?
Do you love yourself? Your sisters and mother, if you can’t love your kin how can you love another?

I am sick and tired of moody women, waking up in the morning and even before your feet touch the slipper.
YOU’RE ANNOYED.
You take it out on your man, on your kids on your work mates and wonder where the word bitch came from?
Smile! It is ok to let it go, it is ok to let your softness show, you do not have to be right all the time
and you don’t have to sulk until you’re told you are right all the time and please don’t whine
It sounds like a thousand razor blades cutting at my brain at the same time
We all have problems and honestly, nobody cares about you or your mummy issues   don’t settle for that, step up, keep on!

“Ohh My face has pimples”….scrub it!
I don’t have enough friends…live it, live life and life will come to you but only when your through with the enemies that are inside

How come you just can’t love and live and love and live and love and live and

I am tired of these bull shit crutches
Lame ass excuses and now, It’s the men!
Its such a shame that all the worlds problems are caused by men
and all the worlds problems can only be solved by men
Think about it, civil war, divorce, absentee fathers, single mothers
it’s a shame how many bastards are masquerading as perfect brothers
only for them to do it again and like Adam, point a finger and tell God
“It’s the woman you gave me!”

I am sick and tired of phrases like” you’re trying to change me” or ” lets be friends”
or “I had a messed up childhood”, who didn’t?
” I want to be somewhere financially, emotionally, spiritually!” Who doesn’t?
” Baby you’re too good for me”,  don’t settle for that, come up, step up! Keep on!

Who else will be the man? Or do you want to wear the thong?

Statistics don’t have to be you and me.
Clearly the talk shows in the morning paint a picture but vaguely
and not all relationships end up in divorce
and I believe in my heart marriage and happiness is not a lost cause
we mustn’t forget that the King is supposed to be with the queen
not the court jester!

Are we so twisted inside that we cant shine as the royalty that we are
Have we embraced the new age way of thinking that we believe that a man
and a woman cannot let go of their fickle feelings
of their damaged thoughts
of their enemies inside
and meet in the middle
you and me, we both come together with our issues
and meet in the middle
living together, knowing we are not perfect and meet in the middle
forgive and embrace a fuller, forgiving, wholesome life
and meet in the middle

and love and live and love and live
and love and live and love and live
and love and live and love and live
and love and live and love and live
and love and live and love and live
and love and live and love and live!

    And now its the men…
I get the feeling this piece should be performed and performed by a man for the 1st part and a woman for the second part
